In order to schedule production, we require a deposit of $1,000 for any Factory Five component car package. It’s not crucial that your order is 100% complete as you can make changes to your order up to ten days before shipping.<\/p>\n

After we receive your order we will send you a deposit receipt, an invoice that indicates your ship date and balance due, and some helpful documents about what to expect. Between order point and your actual production date, an engineer\/tech support person will call you and review your order. Our engineers will review the configuration of your order and make sure it is accurate and makes sense.<\/p>\n

When the production date nears, a member of the tech support team will call for final payment and to arrange pick-up or delivery times. From our Home to Yours<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let’s talk about how your kit gets from our dock to your home. Factory Five kits are sold to all 50 states and in most countries, FOB Wareham, MA. This means that you will have to pay for shipping or come pick up your kit. Here are some options.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\nTransport\/Shipping<\/strong>
\nA lot of customers arrange their own shipping through a company called Cunningham Transport (formally Stewart Transport ). You can call them at 480-999-0060 to get a quote and arrange shipment of your Factory Five kit right to your garage. The guy that runs the place is named Todd Cunningham, and he has done a great job over the years. Cunningham Transport picks up kits from our dock and delivers them to your driveway for one flat rate. Cunningham has dedicated trucks with electric cranes so you don’t have to order a crate from us. Cunningham Trucking is an independent company.\nPick-ups at Factory Five<\/strong>
\nIf you want to pick up your kit at our facility there is no charge. We usually schedule kit completion dates for the Saturday of the week your kit will be ready for pick-up or shipping. We can help schedule your pick-up for a work day (Monday through Friday) following that date. If you’re picking up the kit at our place you also save the crate fee.\n

Before your pick-up date, make sure to confirm the date with our staff and also review trailer dimensions to make sure everything will fit. We’ve coordinated hundreds of kit pick-ups and we want to help make sure yours goes smoothly. Give us a call and let us know your plans if they change from the time you order your kit. It’s as easy as that.<\/p>\nCommercial Freight<\/strong>
\nWe can ship your kit in a custom made crate via a commercial carrier of your choice. We work with many major freight carriers (Yellow, ABF, etc). The crate dimensions are 16′ long by 52″ tall by 6’6″ wide and it weighs 1650 lbs. The crate is made of a base layer of 4″ x 4″ lumber, a floor of \u00be” tongue-in-groove plywood. The sides are 2″ x 4″ reinforced, 3\/8″ sheet plywood, and the top is \u00be” tongue-in-groove plywood. Fork truck or pallet jack access is from front or rear. We charge for a crating fee and when you see the strength and complexity of the box, you won’t grumble too much about the price.\n\t
