The Factory Five ’35 Hot Rod Truck continues the Factory Five tradition of providing everything you need to build your car except for the running gear. There isn’t a better way to build a vintage pick-up. Rather than putting together parts from various manufacturers, our chassis, body, suspension parts, interior, and everything are engineered to work together and are delivered in one big box of brand new parts.<\/p>\n

1,000 HP Beach Cruiser?<\/h3>\n

The Factory Five ’35 Hot Rod Truck chassis is based on the rock solid 2nd Gen ’33 Hot Rod frame. It was designed to do a lot of jobs. Thanks to the ultra-rigid tubular steel space-frame, you can build a smooth riding, quiet, and cool beach cruiser. The same chassis works as a ten second drag race monster with the ability to handle today’s high horsepower custom engines.<\/p>\n\t

Bolt-in Your Engine, Transmission, and Rear End.<\/h2>\n\"\"
\nThe Factory Five ’35 Hot Rod Truck is designed to use small block V-8 power, a wide range of of transmissions, and a Ford rear end. Included in the Hot Rod Truck package are the engine mounts, driveshaft, side exit exhaust, mufflers, and straight tubes with fasteners required to match up to the factory or aftermarket shorty headers. All these parts make installing your running gear easy.\n

Engine<\/h5>\n

The ’35 Hot Rod Truck is set up to use either Ford or Chevy engines. Choose from small block Ford 289\/302, 351, 4.6L engines and the new 5.0L\u2008Coyote or the Chevy small block and LS\u2008series of engines. We’ve also added an option to install a Hemi.<\/p>\n

Transmission<\/h5>\n

The transmissions that you can use include the T-5 (Ford or GM), T56 (Ford or GM), 700R4, 4L60, 4L65 (GM), TKO, 3550, or AOD. Others, with minor driveshaft modifications, have installed transmissions such as the TH350, C4, C6, 700R4 and the 4L60E. When you order your Hot Rod, you will select the correct spline driveshaft for your transmission.<\/p>\n

Rear End: Solid Axle<\/h5>\n

The car is designed to use a bolt-in 2005-2014 Ford 8.8″ solid-axle rear-end. We do have several Moser rear end options available as well.<\/p>\n

Period Correct Wicked Fast ’35 Truck.<\/h3>\n

The all-new Factory Five ’35 Hot Rod Pick-Up Truck delivers renowned Factory Five handling and performance, but in a cool, period-correct cruiser. Features like a bench seat, functional 5′ truck bed, traditional doors, and large cab make this a performance Hot Rod and a fun cruiser. Vintage style on the outside, and with a curb weight of 2,280 lbs., it is still wicked fast!<\/p>\n\t

Optional Hot Rod Truck Deluxe Nose<\/h3>\n

In January 2019, we made significant upgrades to our Hot Rod Truck. With the new optional Deluxe nose (also available on the Hot Rod), you can build the car with even more custom options.<\/p>\n
